A new device from Nubiaâs gaming-focused RedMagic line appears to be moving closer to release, following its appearance in Thailandâs NBTC certification database. The listing confirms the name RedMagic 11s Pro along with the model number NX809J, a detail that, while routine on its own, typically signals that a launch is not far off.

The certification does not include technical specifications, which is common for such filings. These listings tend to serve more as formal checkpoints than sources of detailed product information. Even so, the naming confirmation offers the clearest indication yet that Nubia is preparing another update to its current gaming phone lineup.
There is, however, some uncertainty surrounding the model number itself. NX809J has previously been associated with the RedMagic 11 Pro. That overlap adds a layer of confusion, particularly given how the global version of the 11 Pro already drew heavily from its Pro+ counterpart when it was released.

This reuse of identifiers makes it difficult to determine where the 11s Pro fits within the existing range. It may represent a minor revision aimed at specific markets, or a slightly adjusted variant of an already familiar device. Nubia has taken both approaches in the past, depending on timing and regional strategy.
Attention has turned, in part, to the battery configuration. The version of the 11 Pro sold in China carries an 8,000mAh battery, while the global model opted for a slightly smaller 7,500mAh unit, paired with faster charging capabilities. Whether the 11s Pro alters that balance remains unclear, but it is one of the few areas where a change might be expected.
Beyond that, the broader direction is unlikely to shift significantly. The current RedMagic line is built around performance-driven hardware, including a flagship Snapdragon processor, an internal cooling fan, high refresh rate display, and gaming-specific controls such as shoulder triggers. Those elements have become central to the brandâs identity and are expected to carry over.
The RedMagic 11 Pro itself already delivers strong performance within its category, which suggests that any âsâ refresh could focus more on refinement than reinvention.

With certification now in place, further details may begin to surface in the coming weeks. For now, the NBTC listing offers a quiet but familiar signal that another release is approaching.
