Samsung will host Galaxy Unpacked on July 22 in London. The event starts at 2 p.m. BST (9 a.m. EDT). Samsung will stream it live on Samsung.com, its Newsroom, and YouTube beginning at those times.

The tagline “A New Shape Unfolds” hints at a wide foldable device, likely the Galaxy Z Fold8. Rumors also point to the Z Flip8 and new Galaxy Watch models joining the lineup.
What to Expect From the Fold8
Samsung has spent years perfecting foldable displays. The Z Fold8 is expected to introduce a wider form factor when unfolded, making it closer to a tablet experience than previous generations. Leaks suggest the outer display will be less cramped, addressing a long-standing complaint from reviewers and users.
The new Flex Titanium Technology mentioned in Samsung’s announcement likely refers to improved durability in the hinge and screen materials. Foldables have historically struggled with durability concerns. A tougher build could finally push mainstream adoption.
The Flip8 and Watches Join the Party
The Galaxy Z Flip8 is expected to follow similar design upgrades. A larger cover display would let users do more without opening the phone. New Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch9 models are also rumored, bringing Samsung’s wearable ecosystem up to speed.
Samsung has also hinted at a device called the Galaxy Able, though details remain scarce.
Registration and Early Access
Users can register at samsung.com/unpacked for exclusive benefits, teasers, and updates leading up to July 22. Samsung often uses early registration to gauge interest and offer preview access to select users.
London is the right stage for Samsung’s moment. The city has always moved forward by setting trends, not chasing them—exactly what Samsung is betting its foldable bet represents.
