জুমবাংলা ডেস্ক: প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা বলেছেন, ‘মালদ্বীপে প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিরা বর্তমানে যে সমস্যাগুলোর সম্মুখীন হচ্ছেন তা সমাধানে ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করবে সরকার।’ মালদ্বীপে বাংলাদেশি প্রবাসীদের দেওয়া এক সংবর্ধনায় প্রবাসীদের কল্যাণ করা তাঁর সরকারের দায়িত্ব উল্লেখ করে তিনি বলেন, ‘মালদ্বীপের প্রেসিডেন্টের সঙ্গে আমি একটি সফল দ্বিপাক্ষিক আলোচনা করেছি। অনথিভুক্ত বাংলাদেশী শ্রমিকদের বৈধ করার বিষয়টি সংলাপে প্রাধান্য পেয়েছে।’ এখানে অকস্ম্যাৎ এসে পড়ায় যারা এখনও বৈধতা পাননি সে বিষয়ে মালদ্বীপ সরকারের সঙ্গে তাঁর সরকারের এমওইউ স্বাক্ষরের প্রসঙ্গও উল্লেখ করেন তিনি। প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, বাংলাদেশি প্রবাসীরা তাদের কষ্টার্জিত অর্থ সরাসরি মালদ্বীপের মুদ্রায় যাতে দেশে পাঠাতে পারেন সে ব্যবস্থাও তিনি নেবেন, যাতে তাদের লোকসানের মুখে পড়তে না হয়।…
