Apple is expected to announce a new range of devices at its annual product event on September 9, led by a rumoured foldable iPhone and the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The presentation is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET and will stream through Apple’s official website and the Apple TV app. Apple had not confirmed its launch list before the event.
The foldable iPhone, reportedly called the iPhone Ultra, could be Apple’s first foldable smartphone. Reports suggest a book-style design with a 7.7-inch to 7.8-inch internal display and a 5.3-inch to 5.5-inch outer display.
The larger screen may make the device closer to a compact tablet when opened. It is also expected to include four cameras. However, reports indicate that its thin body could lead to some trade-offs, including no Face ID, no telephoto camera and no MagSafe or standard wireless charging support.
Apple is also expected to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Details on their display, camera, battery and processor remain unconfirmed.
Other expected launches include the Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, AirPods 5, Apple TV 4K, M6 MacBook Pro and M6 iMac.
A new Apple Home Hub may also be shown. The device is expected to use an iPad-like display and support HomeKit-compatible lights, thermostats, cameras, locks and speakers.
