Infinix has introduced its latest high-end smartphone, the Infinix GT 50 Pro, positioning it as a device aimed at users who spend a significant amount of time gaming on mobile. The launch comes with a mix of familiar hardware upgrades and a few design choices that lean heavily into gaming use.

The device is being released in three color optionsâBlack Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacierâand will be available in two storage configurations, offering 12GB of RAM paired with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. Pricing starts at IDR 6,499,000, with sales scheduled to begin shortly after the announcement.
Inside the box, Infinix includes a 45W charger, a USB cable, and a protective case. The case features a magnetic ring, which is not just decorative but ties into one of the phoneâs more unusual accessories.
That accessory, the MagCharge Cooler 2.0, attaches magnetically to the back of the phone. It combines wireless charging and active cooling, delivering up to 15W of wireless power alongside 12W of thermoelectric cooling. The company says this dual-function setup is a first of its kind. There is also support for wireless bypass charging, designed to send power directly to the motherboard during gameplay rather than cycling it through the battery.
The GT 50 Pro runs on a Dimensity 8400 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Battery capacity varies slightly depending on the model, with either a 6,500mAh or 6,150mAh unit. Charging options include 45W wired, 30W wireless, and 10W reverse wired charging.
On the front, the phone carries a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching up to 4,500 nits. The flat design and build quality give it a solid feel in hand, with the red variant standing out more than the others.
Around the back, Infinix has added a dynamic RGB lighting system integrated into what it calls a HydroFlow liquid cooling setup. The cooling system spans over 6,400 square millimeters and includes visible liquid movement when activated, offering a visual cue alongside its thermal function.
The device also introduces shoulder triggers that rely on haptic feedback rather than physical buttons. These triggers support multiple pressure sensitivity levels and can be customized for different actions, including gaming controls, app shortcuts, and camera zoom.
