iQOO has confirmed its Z11 smartphone will launch in India on August 20, cementing what had been weeks of teasers and leaks into a firm date.
The company has not published a final price, but multiple outlets tracking the launch, including 91mobiles and Digit, put the base variant somewhere between 30,000 and 35,000 rupees, with some listings suggesting it could start as low as 29,999 rupees.
The phone is expected to arrive with a 6.83-inch curved AMOLED display running at 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness rated up to 5,000 nits, figures that would put it near the top of its price segment for screen quality.
Power comes from MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, according to specifications listed by Smartprix and Beebom. That configuration targets buyers who want flagship-adjacent performance without paying flagship prices.
On the camera side, the Z11 is tipped to carry a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilization, backed by a secondary rear camera and a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
Battery life looks to be a selling point too. Reports point to a 7,000 to 8,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging, along with IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, a combination still uncommon at this price point. The phone is expected to run Funtouch OS based on Android 16, and to come in Aurora Green and Celestial Blue color options.
iQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo, has built a following in India by packing large batteries and fast charging into mid-range phones, and the Z11 appears aimed squarely at extending that reputation ahead of the festive shopping season.
The launch also lands in one of the most competitive corners of the Indian smartphone market, where Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series and Samsung’s Galaxy M and F lines fight for the same budget-conscious buyers. iQOO’s earlier Z-series phones sold well by leaning on camera hardware and display specs that typically show up in pricier phones, and early listings suggest the Z11 is following that same playbook rather than breaking from it.
A separate variant, the iQOO Z11x, has already been shown publicly in two colorways, according to GSMArena, suggesting the company plans a wider Z11 lineup with different price points rather than a single device. iQOO has not said whether the Z11x will launch alongside the standard Z11 on August 20 or arrive separately.
