Available in 13.8-inch and 15-inch sizes, the Laptop 8 targets mobile professionals who prioritize battery life and thermal efficiency over raw processing power.

The Snapdragon X2 processor delivers up to 58% more graphics performance than the Snapdragon X Elite in the Surface Laptop 7. Microsoft claims 20-hour battery life, doubling traditional laptop endurance.

The 15-inch model’s display gets sharper—pixel density increases from 201 PPI to 262 PPI. Both versions feature what Microsoft calls the highest-rated laptop camera tested by DXOMARK, ideal for video calls and streaming.

The Surface Laptop 8 starts at $1,599 with Snapdragon X2 Plus (10-core), 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage. A new Jade color option joins the lineup.
