Mivi will launch the Mivi One 5G in India on September 24, marking the audio brand’s first step into the smartphone market. The company has confirmed the date and the phone’s use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G platform, but it has not yet published the exact chipset, price or complete specifications.

Reports from 91mobiles and Gadgets 360 say the phone will be sold through Flipkart. Mivi has shown the handset in a green finish, with a flat frame and a vertically arranged rear camera design. The company is promoting the device with the “Pretty Powerful” tagline and says it was developed with Indian consumer requirements in mind.
Mivi is known in India for earphones, speakers and other audio products. 91mobiles reported that the Hyderabad-based company is expanding into smartphones after a decade of developing, designing and manufacturing consumer technology in India. The move places a familiar budget-audio name in a phone market dominated by brands such as Redmi, Realme and Motorola.
The confirmed information stops short of a full hardware sheet. Mivi has identified the phone as a 5G model with a Snapdragon platform, yet the company has not named the processor. A Geekbench listing discussed by 91mobiles points to a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, 6GB of RAM and Android 16, but the report also says Mivi has not confirmed that the listing belongs to the One 5G. Those details should therefore remain separate from the company’s confirmed specifications.
The expected price has also not been announced. Coverage has linked the Mivi One 5G to the under-Rs 15,000 segment, where buyers have fewer 5G choices than they have in higher price bands. That positioning could make the phone relevant to shoppers looking for a lower-cost 5G device, but the final price will decide whether it can compete with established models.
Other practical details are still open. Mivi has not confirmed the display type or refresh rate, camera sensors, battery capacity, charging speed, storage options or software support period. The company has also not provided a full list of colours or the exact timing for Flipkart availability. Those omissions matter more than early benchmark speculation because they affect the phone’s everyday use and long-term value.
The Mivi One 5G launch date gives Indian buyers a clear date to watch, but it does not answer every buying question yet. The company is expected to disclose the remaining information around the launch. Until then, the safest summary is that Mivi’s first smartphone will arrive in India on September 24 with 5G connectivity and a Qualcomm Snapdragon platform. The processor, price and full hardware list remain unconfirmed.
