Xiaomi has scheduled another HyperOS 4 beta wave for September 17, adding six phones and two tablets to the company’s published test-update plan. The Xiaomi HyperOS 4 beta list covers Redmi K100 and K80 models, the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2, and two Xiaomi Pad 7 models. The schedule is for the Chinese-market beta program, and it is not a confirmation of a global release.

The company’s official HyperOS 4 page lists the Redmi K100 Pro Max, Redmi K100 Pro, Redmi K80 Pro, Redmi K80 Ultra and Redmi K80 for the September 17 phase. It also names the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2, Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra and Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5. Xiaomi says the dates and supported models can change, so owners should check an official Xiaomi Community notice before treating the schedule as a guaranteed update date.

This is the third phase in the first beta plan. Xiaomi opened the first group on August 14 for the Xiaomi 17 series, Redmi K90 Pro Max, Redmi K90, Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro. A second phase began on August 27 for models including the Xiaomi 17T series, Xiaomi 15 series, Redmi K90 Max, Redmi K90 Ultra and Redmi K Pad 2. Notebookcheck reported the same three-stage China schedule when Xiaomi announced the beta program.

HyperOS 4 is presented as a software update with changes to the interface, system responsiveness and cross-device functions. Xiaomi’s page describes faster app starts, memory preloading and lower frame-drop figures in company lab comparisons on a Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Those figures are Xiaomi’s own test results, not an independent performance test, and actual results can vary by model, software version and workload.

The update also includes software features built around Super Xiao AI, notes, recording and device connections. Xiaomi says some functions depend on the device, related app versions or the Chinese mainland service environment. The company’s notices also state that certain AI and cross-device features are limited to compatible models. That makes the September list more useful as a beta eligibility guide than as a complete promise about every HyperOS 4 feature.

Neither Xiaomi’s page nor Notebookcheck provides a confirmed global beta timetable for these models. Notebookcheck said Xiaomi had not revealed the international schedule, while Xiaomi’s own page limits the published information to its mainland China HyperOS 4 program. International owners should therefore wait for a regional announcement rather than installing software from an unofficial source or assuming that a China beta will arrive on a global handset.

For now, the clearest update is the September 17 China beta phase and its eight named devices. The date gives eligible testers a point to watch, but Xiaomi’s warning about changes remains important. A beta release can have different availability, requirements and functions from a stable update, so the final rollout should be judged only from Xiaomi’s later notices and the update screen on the specific device.
