Smartphone buyers in India are beginning to feel the impact of higher device prices, with fresh increases now appearing across OnePlus, Nothing, Redmi, Realme and some Samsung models.
The latest changes affect the OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15R and Nothing’s current phone lineup. The increases come amid an ongoing RAM crisis that has already pushed some brands to adjust pricing in other markets.
OnePlus has raised prices for both storage variants of the OnePlus 15 in India. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model has moved from ₹72,999 to ₹77,999, while the 16GB RAM and 512GB version has increased from ₹79,999 to ₹85,999.
The OnePlus 15R has also become more expensive. Its 12GB and 256GB model now costs ₹52,999, up from ₹50,499. The 12GB and 512GB version has moved from ₹55,499 to ₹57,999.
Nothing has made similar changes across its lineup. The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro now starts at ₹44,999, compared with its earlier ₹39,999 price. Higher storage versions have also increased by ₹5,000.
The regular Nothing Phone (4a) has also become costlier, with the base model moving from ₹31,999 to ₹34,999. The Phone (3a) Lite has seen increases too, with its 8GB and 128GB model rising from ₹24,999 to ₹27,999.
The timing is notable because many of these increases appear to have arrived at the start of the month. While price adjustments have already affected Motorola and Samsung devices in other markets, the latest India changes show the pressure is now spreading more clearly across major Android brands.
For now, the OnePlus and Nothing increases apply to India only. Their US prices have not changed.
The move leaves buyers with a narrower window to find older prices through remaining retail stock or temporary offers. For brands, it signals a more difficult phase in keeping smartphone prices stable while component costs remain under pressure.
