After a sustained and unusually strong theatrical run, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is beginning to show early signs of fatigue at the box office, even as it continues to hold a firm position among the highest-grossing films in recent memory.

The film, led by Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, crossed the Rs 1,100 crore mark in India net collections earlier in its run, setting a benchmark for consistency over multiple weeks. However, the latest figures suggest that momentum is easing, particularly as it moves through its fifth week.
On Day 29, the film’s earnings dipped below Rs 5 crore for the first time, bringing in an estimated Rs 3.40 crore net. Gross figures for the same day hovered around Rs 4.04 crore, indicating a noticeable decline compared to previous weeks.
The slowdown has carried into Day 30. Early estimates place the day’s net collections at just Rs 0.11 crore, with the film currently running across 656 shows. While these figures remain provisional, they point to a sharp drop in footfall as the theatrical cycle stretches on.
Despite the recent dip, the fourth-week performance remains significant. The film closed Week 4 with Rs 54.70 crore, making it the second-highest fourth-week total on record. This allowed it to edge past the Rs 53.75 crore earned by Pushpa 2: The Rule during the same period.
Cumulatively, Dhurandhar 2 has reached an estimated Rs 1,103.23 crore in India net collections and Rs 1,320.62 crore in gross earnings domestically. These numbers place it within close range of surpassing Pushpa 2’s reported lifetime total of Rs 1,738 crore, with a gap of roughly Rs 4 crore remaining.
The larger milestone, however, still lies ahead. To claim the top position, the film would need to exceed the widely cited Rs 1,788 crore mark set by Baahubali 2. For now, that target remains out of reach, particularly as the current trend suggests a gradual tapering of revenues.

The trajectory, while softening, does not diminish the scale of the film’s earlier performance. Its extended run and sustained collections over four weeks have already placed it in a rare category, even as the final phase unfolds more quietly.
