Switzerland play Colombia at BC Place in Vancouver on Tuesday, July 7, with kickoff at 1pm Pacific time. It is the last tie of the World Cup round of 16. The winner takes on Argentina or Egypt in a quarterfinal in Kansas City on July 12.

Both teams are unbeaten in the tournament. That makes this one of the hardest games of the round to call.
Two quiet, steady runs to the last 16
Colombia beat Uzbekistan 3-1 and DR Congo 1-0 in the group, then held Portugal to a goalless draw. A 1-0 win over Ghana in the round of 32 carried them through.
Switzerland drew with Qatar and beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 4-1, then edged Canada 2-1. They dispatched Algeria 2-0 in the round of 32 without much fuss.
Injury news and the players to watch
Colombia have lost striker Jhon Cordoba for the rest of the tournament with a hamstring strain. Luis Diaz remains their most dangerous attacker, and right-back Daniel Munoz has already scored twice in North America.
For Switzerland, Breel Embolo leads the line with two goals of his own. Midfielder Michel Aebischer is a doubt after a muscle injury, according to FIFA‘s match preview.
The bracket and how to watch
Tuesday’s winner meets Argentina or Egypt at Kansas City Stadium on Sunday, July 12. France face Morocco in Boston on July 9, and Norway play England in Miami on July 11.
Viewers in the United States can watch on Fox and FS1, with streaming on Fox One and the Fox Sports app. Spanish-language coverage runs on Telemundo and Universo, with streaming on Peacock. In Canada, TSN and RDS carry the matches.
Vancouver hosts the final round-of-16 match. By Tuesday night, the quarterfinal bracket will be complete.
