Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G has been introduced in Bangladesh alongside the standard Camon 50 and the Pova Curve 2 5G. The launch was confirmed within the last day through the company’s official announcement for the local market.

The release adds three new mid to upper-mid range smartphones to Tecno’s lineup in Bangladesh. The focus is on camera hardware, large batteries, and high refresh-rate displays for daily users.

Camera-focused Camon 50 Ultra 5G and durable Camon 50 arrive together

The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G is positioned as the top model in the new series. It carries a 50 MP main camera using a Sony LYT-700C sensor with optical image stabilization. The setup also includes a 50 MP 3x optical telephoto camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide lens.

The phone supports AI 60x SuperZoom and a feature called Super-Zoom FlashSnap. Tecno also highlights underwater photography capability with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.

On the front, the Camon 50 Ultra 5G uses a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is designed for smooth scrolling and video playback in bright outdoor conditions.

The device is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. It runs on a large 6500 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support for daily heavy use.

The standard Camon 50 focuses on camera performance at a lower price tier. It includes a 50 MP Sony LYT-700C main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32 MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

It also features a 6.78-inch 144Hz display with ProXDR eye-care technology. The phone runs on the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor and carries the same 6500 mAh battery with 45W charging support.

Both Camon 50 models offer IP68 and IP69 protection and long-term software support. Tecno says users will get up to three major Android upgrades and five years of security updates.

POVA Curve 2 5G targets performance and battery life users

The Pova Curve 2 5G is designed for users who want a slim body with a large battery. It comes with a 7.42 mm thin design and an 8000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

The phone uses a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It supports up to 4500 nits peak brightness and 2304Hz PWM dimming for improved eye comfort.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor. It also features a 50 MP main camera and a 13 MP front camera for everyday photography.

The Pova Curve 2 5G carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. It is aimed at gamers and heavy users who need long battery endurance.

The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G leads this new lineup with its advanced camera system, strong durability rating, and high-refresh display. With these three launches, Tecno is expanding its presence in Bangladesh’s competitive mid-range smartphone segment.
