Tesla Cybertruck 2026: Range, Charging, and Price Comparison

By Aminul Islam NadimMarch 16, 20264 Mins Read

The Tesla Cybertruck 2026 lineup currently consists of two versions in the United States: the dual-motor all-wheel-drive Cybertruck AWD and the tri-motor Cyberbeast. Both models share the same angular stainless-steel design and core electric platform but differ in performance, features, and price.

Tesla discontinued the previously planned rear-wheel-drive version. As a result, the 2026 Tesla Cybertruck range now begins with the AWD model, while the Cyberbeast sits at the top of the lineup with higher power and additional features.

Inside the 2026 Tesla Cybertruck lineup and specifications

The Tesla Cybertruck 2026 uses a high-voltage battery pack rated at about 123 kWh. The system operates on an advanced 800-volt-class architecture, allowing the pickup to support extremely fast charging under the right conditions.

Both available versions share similar core capabilities. The Cybertruck AWD and Cyberbeast can tow up to 11,000 pounds and feature Tesla’s steer-by-wire system, four-wheel steering, and a 48-volt electrical system.

Performance is where the biggest difference appears. The Cyberbeast tri-motor setup delivers much stronger acceleration, reaching 0–60 mph in about 2.6 seconds. The dual-motor AWD model completes the same sprint in roughly 4.1 seconds.

Range figures remain relatively close across the two trims. Tesla lists a maximum EPA combined range of around 325 miles for the AWD version depending on wheel configuration. The Cyberbeast version is slightly lower but still remains above the 300-mile mark.

Energy consumption for the AWD model is rated at approximately 79 MPGe, translating to roughly 2.3 miles per kilowatt-hour when charging losses are included. The Cyberbeast consumes slightly more energy because of its higher performance.

Charging technology is one of the most discussed features of the Tesla Cybertruck 2026. The pickup uses Tesla’s NACS charging connector for both AC charging and DC fast charging.

For home charging, the truck carries an 11.5 kW onboard charger. A 240-volt wall unit delivering up to 48 amps can fully recharge the battery in roughly 11 to 12 hours.

Fast charging capability is significantly higher. On Tesla V3.5 Superchargers, the Cybertruck can reach charging speeds up to 325 kW. Newer high-voltage V4 systems can briefly push charging peaks near 500 kW, although the maximum output is sustained only for a short period.

Under typical fast-charging sessions, Tesla estimates the Cybertruck AWD can add up to 137 miles of range in about 15 minutes. The Cyberbeast version adds around 135 miles during the same time window.

The Cyberbeast trim also includes Tesla’s Luxe Package, which provides complimentary access to Tesla Supercharging in many cases.

Another notable feature is Tesla’s power export capability. The Cybertruck includes several onboard outlets including two 120-volt ports in the cabin, two in the truck bed, and a 240-volt outlet designed for heavier tools or equipment.

Together these outputs can deliver up to 9.6 kW of power. The vehicle can also provide home backup power through Tesla’s Powershare system, allowing up to 11.5 kW of continuous energy flow through compatible home hardware.

Pricing structure and current market position

Pricing for the Tesla Cybertruck 2026 begins at about $79,990 for the dual-motor AWD version before mandatory fees. After destination and other charges, the entry price moves slightly higher.

The Cyberbeast version sits at the top of the lineup and costs about $35,000 more than the AWD model. The higher price reflects the tri-motor drivetrain, improved acceleration, and additional standard features.

Within the electric pickup market, the Cybertruck competes with vehicles such as the Rivian R1T, Ford F-150 Lightning, and Chevrolet Silverado EV. Tesla’s advantage lies in charging infrastructure, software integration, and its expanding Supercharger network.

The Tesla Cybertruck 2026 remains one of the most unconventional electric vehicles on the road today. With its stainless-steel structure, ultra-fast charging capability, and strong towing performance, Tesla’s pickup continues to stand apart from traditional truck designs while expanding the company’s presence in the electric truck market.

FYI (keeping you in the loop)-

What versions of the Tesla Cybertruck are available in 2026?

The 2026 Tesla Cybertruck is available in two versions: the dual-motor all-wheel-drive Cybertruck AWD and the tri-motor Cyberbeast. The previously announced rear-wheel-drive model has been discontinued.

What is the range of the Tesla Cybertruck 2026?

The maximum EPA combined range is around 325 miles for the AWD version depending on wheel choice. The Cyberbeast offers slightly less range but still remains above 300 miles.

How fast can the Tesla Cybertruck charge?

The Cybertruck supports DC fast charging up to 325 kW on Tesla V3.5 Superchargers. Newer V4 systems can briefly reach peaks near 500 kW, although the highest speeds last only a short time.
