Vivo V80 Lite 5G Set for September 3 Launch With 10000mAh Battery

By Soniya ChowdhuryAugust 23, 20262 Mins Read

The vivo V80 Lite 5G is scheduled to launch in Malaysia on September 3, with the company highlighting a 10,000mAh battery as the phone’s main feature. The launch announcement gives the model a firm date, but vivo has not yet released the complete price and specification sheet for the Malaysian market.

Lowyat reported that vivo Malaysia confirmed the September 3 launch and described the battery as a 10,000mAh BlueVolt unit. The report said the battery uses fourth-generation silicon-anode technology and Magic Cube Battery Packaging, while reverse charging will allow the phone to share power with another device.

The phone is also expected to use a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display. Lowyat said vivo disclosed three colour options: Afterglow Pink, Emerald Green and Dawn Black. The company has not disclosed every hardware detail, so processor, camera and storage information should not be treated as confirmed from early listings or unofficial specification pages.

SoyaCincau reported that the Malaysian launch event is scheduled for 7pm local time on September 3. It also said vivo has promoted stable operation in temperatures up to 45 degrees Celsius, a 3.8K Ultra Large VC cooling system and a Battery Life Extender feature intended to keep essential functions available when the battery is low.

The prelaunch material presents the vivo V80 Lite 5G as a battery-focused device rather than a phone with a confirmed Bangladesh price or release date. SoyaCincau reported that vivo Malaysia had opened a small deposit-based preorder and offered vouchers, but those terms apply to that market and do not establish availability elsewhere.

Vivo has previously appeared to use different model numbers and market-specific versions for phones in this range, so early reports should be separated from the company’s confirmed Malaysia announcement. The September 3 event should clarify the final price, charging details, cameras, processor, storage and wider availability. Until then, the verified points are the Malaysian launch date, the 10,000mAh battery claim, the three announced colours and the 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display.
