Von Miller is reportedly set to join the Dallas Cowboys on a one-year contract, according to a report published by Spanish sports outlet AS. The move would bring the eight-time Pro Bowl linebacker to the team as Dallas continues to add experience to its defensive group.

AS reported that Miller agreed to the deal after spending the 2025 season with the Washington Commanders. The report said he recorded nine sacks in 17 games and had 1.5 sacks across two meetings with Dallas last season.
Miller was selected second overall in the 2011 NFL Draft and has played for the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills and Washington. He won Super Bowls with Denver and Los Angeles, and his career experience is a major part of the value described in the report.
The Cowboys’ official media pages have previously identified Miller as a Dallas-area player who was available before the reported agreement. The team’s broader offseason work has also focused on strengthening the pass rush and building depth around younger defensive players.
The signing report should not be treated as a guarantee about Miller’s playing time or production. Training-camp health, roster decisions and his role in the defensive rotation will determine how the Cowboys use him once the season begins.
