Acer has announced the C350e, a portable Full HD projector with a detachable AI Badge that also works as a remote control. The company presented the projector at its next@acer press conference in Berlin on September 2 during IFA 2026.

The C350e projects at 1,920 by 1,080 resolution. Acer lists an 8,000 LED-lumen light source and 350 ANSI lumens of brightness. Those are different measurements, so the LED-lumen figure should not be read as a direct replacement for the ANSI rating.

The detachable AI Badge remains active when the projector is not showing video. Acer says it can display personal photos and widgets and support AI-driven interactions powered by Google Gemini. The badge can also control the projector when it is detached from the main unit.

A swivel stand allows the projector to rotate 360 degrees and tilt up to 120 degrees. A built-in camera supports autofocus, while two-dimensional keystone correction and four-corner correction help adjust the image when the projector is not placed directly in front of the screen.

The C350e includes a built-in smart system for streaming from popular apps and platforms. Acer also lists two 3-watt speakers. Its LED light source does not need a warm-up or cool-down period in the same way as older lamp-based projectors.

Acer says the light source is rated for a 30,000-hour lifespan and uses mercury-free materials. The company presents the design as a home and family product, with a mix of projection, photo display and remote-control functions.

The C350e is scheduled to launch in EMEA in the first quarter of 2027. Acer lists a starting price of €199. It has not announced a North American price or release date in the product announcement.

The projector’s main news is the combination of a portable Full HD unit and a removable control display. The final test will be how the autofocus, correction tools, streaming system and AI Badge work together in ordinary home viewing.
