Acer has announced the Predator ES Thunder Pro, an electric scooter with traction control, smartphone tracking and a claimed range of up to 70 kilometers. The company presented it at its next@acer press conference in Berlin on September 2 during IFA 2026.

The scooter uses a 500-watt rear-wheel-drive motor. Acer lists a peak output of 1,600 watts, maximum torque of 32 newton-meters and support for grades up to 28 percent. Those figures describe the company’s stated specifications, not an independent road test.

A traction-control system adjusts power output according to road conditions, Acer says. The scooter also uses 10-inch tubeless pneumatic off-road tires and has an IPX6 water-resistance rating. Local riding rules and weather conditions still determine where it can be used safely.

Lighting includes front daytime running lights and side RGB ambient lighting. The scooter has an integrated LED display, a 48-volt 13-amp-hour battery and a listed battery capacity of 624 watt-hours.

The headline software feature is dual-platform location tracking. Acer says the scooter supports Apple Find My and Google Find Hub, allowing owners to locate it through either platform when the required setup is complete.

The Acer eMobility app can show the battery level, vehicle status and riding data. It also handles electronic locking, lighting controls and device settings. Acer says the app supports voice commands for locking or unlocking the scooter, checking the battery and controlling the lights through a smartphone or smartwatch.

The Predator ES Thunder Pro weighs 26.5 kilograms, according to Acer’s specification table. It folds to a listed height of 50 centimeters, while the unfolded dimensions are 118 by 66 by 128 centimeters.

Acer plans to sell the scooter in Europe in the first quarter of 2027, starting at €799. The company says final specifications, prices and availability may vary by region. It has not announced a U.S. launch in the release.
