Blast has crossed the Rs 25 crore mark at the worldwide box office, extending its theatrical run with a strong performance over its opening weekend. The action drama, headlined by Arjun and featuring Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan in key roles, opened in theatres on May 28 and has steadily added to its collections in the days since release.

Directed by debutant filmmaker Subash K Raj, the film began its box office journey with an opening-day collection of Rs 1 crore in India. The following day brought an improvement, with collections rising to Rs 2.15 crore as audience turnout increased.

The film recorded its strongest numbers during the weekend. On Saturday, Blast collected Rs 4.55 crore at the Indian box office, followed by Rs 6 crore on Sunday. The weekend growth helped push the film past the Rs 25 crore milestone worldwide by late Monday, according to the figures provided.

Blast centres on a family of fighters who find themselves caught in a larger conspiracy. As events escalate, the family is forced into a battle against a crime syndicate while fighting for survival. The story combines action-driven conflict with family dynamics at the heart of the narrative.

Alongside Arjun, Abhirami and Preity Mukhundhan, the cast includes Vivek Prasanna, John Kokken, Arjun Chidambaram, Pawan and Dileepan. The ensemble supports a film built around high-stakes confrontations and an expanding criminal conspiracy.

The project also marks a notable debut in Tamil cinema for music composer Ravi Basrur, widely known for his work on the KGF franchise. His score forms part of the film’s creative team as it continues its theatrical run.

The latest box office milestone comes less than a week after the film’s release, reflecting the gains made during the crucial opening weekend period. With collections continuing to build through the first few days in theatres, Blast has secured an early commercial benchmark as it remains on the big screen.
