Raja Shivaji continued its steady run at the box office through its first week, crossing the Rs 50 crore mark on Thursday despite witnessing a slight slowdown in collections during the weekdays.

Directed by and starring Riteish Deshmukh, the historical action drama released in theatres on May 1 in Marathi and Hindi versions. The film opened amid mixed reviews from critics and audiences but maintained strong footfall across several centres, particularly in Maharashtra.
According to the latest figures reported by Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 4 crore on its seventh day across 6,128 shows nationwide. The Marathi version remained the stronger contributor, collecting Rs 2.75 crore on Thursday, while the Hindi version added Rs 1.25 crore to the tally.
With the latest numbers, the film’s total domestic collection has reached Rs 52.65 crore after seven days in theatres.
The first-week performance reflects a stable trend after a strong opening. The film had collected Rs 11.35 crore on its first day before witnessing healthy weekend growth. It earned Rs 10.55 crore on Saturday and Rs 12 crore on Sunday, helping it build momentum early in its theatrical run.
Collections, however, began to ease during the weekdays. On day six, the film earned Rs 4.25 crore, slightly lower than the Rs 4.90 crore reported on the previous day. Even with the gradual decline, the film has managed to hold its position at the box office while competing against Ek Din, featuring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi.
Produced by [Jio Studios](https://www.jiostudios.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com) and Mumbai Film Company, the film portrays the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Genelia D’Souza appears as Saibai alongside Riteish Deshmukh in the lead role.
The supporting cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi and Amole Gupte in key roles.

The film’s performance over the coming weekend is likely to determine whether it can sustain the pace established during its opening week, especially as audience response remains divided but commercially steady.
