Raja Shivaji continued to maintain a steady theatrical run on its ninth day, with the Marathi version once again driving the film’s overall business across key markets. The historical drama, directed by and starring Riteish Deshmukh, added around Rs 1.48 crore net in India on Day 9, according to live estimates from Sacnilk.

With the latest figures, the film’s India net total has reached nearly Rs 57.33 crore, while gross earnings stand at approximately Rs 67.97 crore. The film is currently screening in 1,935 shows nationwide.

The Marathi version remained the stronger performer by a wide margin. It collected an estimated Rs 1.17 crore from 951 shows on Saturday, recording occupancy close to 28%. In several Maharashtra circuits, audience turnout continued to hold despite the film entering its second weekend.

Pune delivered one of the strongest responses for the Marathi release with occupancy around 32%, while Sangli registered nearly 39% despite a comparatively smaller number of shows. Mumbai remained the biggest exhibition centre for the film, running more than 500 screenings with occupancy near 20%.

The Hindi version collected around Rs 0.31 crore from 984 shows, with occupancy staying near 11%. Pune again emerged as one of the better-performing centres for the Hindi release, reporting occupancy around 40%, while cities such as Ahmedabad and Surat remained comparatively slow, hovering between 3% and 4%.

The film had opened strongly on May 1 with a first-day India net collection of Rs 11.35 crore across 6,192 shows. Collections stayed consistent through the opening weekend, with Day 2 bringing in Rs 10.55 crore and Day 3 adding Rs 12 crore.

By the end of its first week, the film had crossed Rs 52.65 crore net in India. Weekday collections gradually declined but remained stable overall, with earnings of Rs 5.60 crore on Monday, Rs 4.90 crore on Tuesday, Rs 4.25 crore on Wednesday, Rs 4 crore on Thursday and Rs 3.20 crore on Friday.

Set around the life and rise of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the film follows the journey toward establishing Hindavi Swarajya. Alongside Riteish Deshmukh, the cast includes Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Vidya Balan and Genelia Deshmukh.
