Samsung’s Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner has won an IFA 2026 Innovation Award for design, according to Samsung. The company also lists the model as a Best in Home Appliances honoree at the Berlin trade show.

Samsung announced the award information on September 4. The company presents the air conditioner as part of a wider home-appliance range that uses sensors and connected services to adjust the experience around a household’s routine.
The WindFree Pro uses a grid-style front design rather than relying only on a conventional visible outlet. Samsung says three Motion Wings sit behind the grid. The wings are designed to direct air through the unit while keeping the front appearance relatively uniform.
Samsung’s AI Motion Wind feature uses radar to read movement in the room, according to the company’s announcement. The system can adapt airflow around detected movement and user preferences. The release does not provide an independent test of comfort, energy use or detection accuracy.
The motion feature is presented as a way to avoid cooling an empty part of a room. That could matter in a home where people move between areas during the day. Actual savings will depend on room size, insulation, thermostat settings, weather and how the unit is installed.
Samsung also connects the WindFree Pro concept with wearable data. The company says its WindFree Wearable Good Sleep function can work with a compatible wearable and body signals. The announcement does not identify every supported device or explain which markets will receive the feature.
Receiving a trade-show design award does not establish a retail launch date or a final price. Samsung’s release names the product features and award results, but the sources reviewed do not provide a universal availability schedule. Regional models may also differ.
The confirmed update is Samsung’s award recognition and its description of radar-assisted airflow and wearable-linked sleep features. Buyers should wait for local specifications, installation guidance, service coverage and measured efficiency before comparing the WindFree Pro with other connected air conditioners.
