Tom Holland has confirmed that he and Zendaya are married. In a cover interview with Esquire published in mid-June, Holland acknowledged the ceremony when asked directly, saying “the family were all there” before redirecting the conversation. The confirmation ends months of speculation following widely reported engagement rumours in late 2025.

Holland, 29, and Zendaya, 29, met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and went public with their relationship in 2021. Their engagement was reported late last year after Zendaya was photographed wearing a ring at several public events. Neither confirmed it officially at the time.

The Esquire interview focuses primarily on Holland’s upcoming projects. He responded to one direct question about the marriage, gave a brief confirmation, and moved on. Zendaya was not part of the interview. A spokesperson for the couple has not added to what Holland said in print.

Holland and Zendaya have been among the more private celebrity couples in Hollywood despite significant public interest in their relationship. They have kept personal details largely off social media and rarely discuss each other in press settings. Confirming the marriage through a single line in a print interview rather than a social media announcement fits that pattern precisely.

The ceremony appears to have been small and private. Holland’s comment that family was present, combined with the absence of any leaked photographs or public reports beforehand, suggests they kept the event tightly contained. No location or date for the ceremony has been publicly disclosed.

Holland has several upcoming projects in development. Zendaya’s film Challengers was among 2024’s most discussed releases and she has projects in the works as well. No joint professional appearances are currently confirmed on either of their schedules.
