Nearly a year after introducing its GT 30 Pro, Infinix has returned with a successor that leans further into gaming hardware while making a few measured refinements to design and endurance. The new GT 50 Pro arrives with upgraded internals, a larger battery option, and a cooling system the company says is built to handle sustained performance demands.

At a glance, the device keeps the visual identity of the series intact. A dynamic RGB lighting array sits on the back panel, a familiar touch aimed at gaming enthusiasts, though the overall finish appears more restrained than before. The changes are more pronounced under the surface.
Infinix is introducing what it calls a HydroFlow liquid cooling system, covering a 6,437 square millimeter area. The company positions it as a step toward maintaining stable performance during extended gameplay sessions, an area where thermal throttling often becomes a concern on high-refresh devices.
The phone runs on MediaTekâs Dimensity 8400 chipset, built around an all-big-core CPU architecture. Infinix pairs this with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Alongside that, the firm has included its own N1 network management chip, which it claims improves signal strength by up to 60 percent.
Gaming controls receive attention as well. The GT 50 Pro introduces dual-pressure shoulder triggers, offering multiple mapping points and adjustable sensitivity. While primarily designed for gameplay, these triggers can also be assigned to everyday functions such as launching apps or controlling camera zoom.
The display measures 6.78 inches, using an AMOLED panel with a variable refresh rate ranging from 30Hz to 144Hz. Peak brightness is rated at 4,500 nits, and the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
Camera hardware remains relatively straightforward. The rear setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. A 13-megapixel front camera sits within a punch-hole cutout.
Battery capacity varies by region, with either a 6,500mAh or 6,150mAh unit. Charging support includes 45W wired, 30W wireless, and 10W reverse wired charging. The device also supports wireless bypass charging when paired with Infinixâs MagCharge Cooler 2.0, allowing power to be delivered directly to the motherboard.
On the software side, the GT 50 Pro runs XOS 16 based on Android 16. Infinix says it will provide five years of software support, a longer commitment than typically seen in this segment.
The phone will be offered in Black Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacier. In Indonesia, pricing starts at IDR 6,499,000 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, with the higher 512GB model listed at IDR 7,499,000. Open sales are set to begin there immediately.

For now, the GT 50 Pro reflects a steady continuation of Infinixâs gaming-focused line, with emphasis placed on sustained performance rather than headline-grabbing redesigns.
