Yash’s Toxic crossed the ₹100 crore mark in India net collections after a strong opening day, but live second-day figures showed lower occupancy as the film moved into its first weekday. The numbers remain provisional because the trackers cited in current reports were still updating on Aug. 27.

NDTV reported that Toxic collected ₹101.10 crore net in India on its opening day from 24,579 shows. The film’s India gross was reported at ₹120.75 crore, while its worldwide gross reached ₹140.75 crore. Toxic was released in theatres on Aug. 26, giving the Day 2 reports a clear comparison with the first day’s final reported performance.

A later NDTV Profit update, published at 8:22 p.m. IST on Aug. 27, cited live Sacnilk data showing ₹14.31 crore collected on Day 2 at that point. It put the India net total at ₹115.41 crore and the India gross at ₹137.64 crore, while warning that the final Day 2 figure had not yet been reported. The report listed overall occupancy at 23.1% across 17,548 shows.

The Day 2 update also showed the film running across multiple language markets. The Hindi version was reported at ₹8.67 crore live from 12,655 shows, followed by Kannada at ₹3.85 crore from 1,343 shows. Telugu was at ₹1.03 crore, Tamil at ₹57 lakh and Malayalam at ₹19 lakh in the same live update. These figures describe the position during the day, not final collections.

The Week’s opening-day report also put India’s net collection at ₹101.10 crore and said the Hindi version contributed ₹55 crore. It reported that Toxic had not exceeded Yash’s own opening-day record from KGF: Chapter 2, which it listed at ₹165.37 crore gross. The report nevertheless placed Toxic among the major Indian openings of 2026 and said it entered the ₹100 crore net club.

The current box-office picture is therefore two-stage. Toxic made a reported ₹101.10 crore net on Day 1, while the second day was tracking at a lower rate before final numbers were available. Because the Day 2 totals were live estimates, they should not be presented as the finished collection. The next confirmed update will show whether the film’s extended holiday period changes the pace after the initial weekday decline.
